Inbeing with Celebration and Rest: A Midwinter Qigong Based Movement Practice

  • Inbeing. LTD London, Greater London United Kingdom (map)

What if deep rest and true celebration are not opposites, but two halves of the same breath?

Nature asks us to draw inward and rest. The season asks us to gather, to give and to celebrate with the people we love. In the busyness of December it’s easy to lose ourselves along the way. Inbeing invites you to hold both - celebration and rest.

This 2 hour workshop, we will have a Cacao ceremony to open the heart, a Qigong based movement practice with music and visualisation to bring the body with us, and quiet time to reflect and share.

We’ll first celebrate and reflect on the year that is closing: what we’ve grown, what we’re grateful for and what we no longer need to carry. Then we’ll settle into deep rest, letting the nervous system soften and finding the quiet centre that stays steady whatever the season brings.

This is the work of balance: honouring the dark as much as the light, the pause as much as the celebration, so we can stay connected to ourselves while we celebrate with others.

Embodiment is a craft, one we practise slowly and together.

Come and gather with Inbeing in the turning of the year, and prepare to welcome back the light.

No experience needed. Just come as you are.
